The in Haarlem born model/actress Dorien Rose looks like two drops like the American actress Angelina Jolie. „Mostly I work in Germany as impersonator. One time the audience was so convinced I was her that the limo I was in was chased by a chopper.” During the premier of Angelina’s latest movie Wanted, Dorien Rose showed up for the first time in Holland as lookalike. „I was offered an exclusive contract in America for a lookalike agency but I’m not ready to commit to it yet. It was directed by Maurice Tromp with who Dorien worked with before on the more than successful Nailed by Nikita. WIT has a new anti cellulite treatment which is already very popular with the American stars. It will probably be a hype in Holland now as well. I already had a few treatments and all I can say is that it really works. I invited the camera of RTL Boulevard to a handling. Check the item here at uitzending 27-10-2008 as off 21.35 minutes.

Last week I went to the Elite Model Look Awards in the Jimmy Woo. It was fun to see the people again who introduced me to the world of fashion 5 years ago. I also had a shooting for a guest appearance for a tv serie. Now I’m in Germany for a AJ job. I added a new personal album at ‘Photos/Personal’: August/September with pictures of my vacation in Ibiza. For now I’m checking out cause I’m going to Bali and England next month so I’ll be back with news in December.

Since last week 200 of my SAPPH billboards appeared on the streets in Amsterdam and the rest of Holland. Including one of 200 square meters on the Lijnbaansgracht/Amsterdam. That’s super cool. Today I’ll attend the musical premiere of Sunset Boulevard with Anthony Kamerling and Simone Kleinsma.

My friend and make up artist Madilon Bos who is working as a model in Brazil at the moment called me to tell me that I’m chosen as the most beautiful woman of Playboy in Brazil. This is a real honour! Especially in a country where there are such bootylicious beautiful woman! Thanks for voting!

I’ve spent a lot abroad last weeks. Had a very cool Angelina job in Germany. And after that I went to Spain for a new project I’m working on so therefore I went to Ibiza again. Can’t get enough! And I have a guest role in a popular komedie serie and will be filming 2 days this week. Keep checking my management the 1&only Playground Agency for all the details which will follow later on.

Last Monday I went to the NOXX in Antwerp for the video release of the hit Los Banditos by DJ Wess Vall with Nadia, Amanda and friend/make up artist Zarah. I have the leading role in this video and it turned out beautiful. I’ll upload the video and the interview to ‘Downloads’ later this week. Here some pictures of the girls night out in Belgium. Friday and Saturday I’m in Germany for a cool look a like job. Saturday evening I’m back for the last party this year in my favourite place in Holland: Republiek Bloemendaal. And this sad fact must be softened by an amazing beach party with all your friends so yeah.. My party duty calls again! That’s week 38! I’m not complaining.

This week I had a commercial shoot for Inventum with director Maurice Tromp. He was the man behind the trailer Nailed by Nikita which was chosen as the winning trailer by Quintin Tarantino. It was fun to work with him again. Yesterday I attended the premiere of Wanted with Angelina Jolie. The movie has amazing special effects and is really a must see!

I just came back from a lovely vacation in Ibiza with Amanda. We had a beautiful shoot with photographer Adam Johnston. We partied, chilled and met so many wonderful people. Before my vacation I had my teeth bleached by Dentalain en Karina de Kok. Keep checking all the DR related websites for the pictures.

Last week I did another shoot with Katja and Madilon Bos and the results will soon be added to my hyves, myspace and on this site. I spotted another cover of Pacha Magazine. Tomorrow I have another cover shoot for Panorama with Toonen@Wientjens on the beach. With who, why and what for I’ll keep to myself for now. And Friday I’m going away for a week with my honey bunny Amanda to chill at a piece of paradise in Ibizaaah! Check this place out and be jealous. Ok. Now I made enough promotion. I’ll be back in no time for more :-)

Check 'Downloads/Media' for a new video in which I interview my sweetheart Amanda because of her beautiful covershoot for Panorama. Yesterday the RTL Star Football kicked off again in Venlo and I’m proud to announce that Multi-talent Brian Kubatz was the only star that scored a goal after years of no practise. Impressive!

Today I walked a fashion show for Take Two in Bloomingdale with a lot of familiar faces. For the show Lange Frans and Baas B. gave a nice performance. It was a fun day despite of the bad weather.

Saturday the 26th of July Dorien Rose had a party with close friends and family at Pleasure Island Festival because she was the face of this event. They especially enjoyed themselves on the VIP deck swimming pool while listening to top dj’s and being spoiled with drinks. For a big happening in Frankfurt Germany I have to appear on the red carpet as the look a like of Angelina Jolie together with my own Brad Pitt, the Beckhams and some other celebrities. This event will take place on Tuesday.

For the first time I’ve worked with good friend and celeb photographer of the Playgound Agency Ronald J Reinders. We did a nice shoot on the beach in Bloemendaal. This week the photos will be ready.

Last year Dorien Rose was a guest at the opening night of Eccentric the Luxury Event from Belgium because of the launch of the new book Senses of Frank de Mulder. Saturday I have another shoot for the Christmas collection for Sapph Lingerie. Photographer Torben Raun and make up artist Ed Tijsen will be a part of the team again. The pictures will be used for shop posters and billboards near the end of the year.

Last days I was in Germany for a shoot because I’ll be the face of a new wellness line for powerplates, face -and body machines and a lot of other cool stuff and this line is called Elite Concepts. Soon we will offer this line in Holland as well in gyms, beauty studios and because the price is half of the normal price of other powerplates you can easily buy them for home use.

My uncle Allard chose to step out of the physical world this week and this came as a shock. My family and I feel intense sad and flabbergasted at the moment. To control my emotions sometimes I write poems to see clearly again and that’s why I wrote something about my uncle. You can read it here. This way you all know what a special man he was. Next to all the sad emotions I’m feeling I never felt this angry at a man X Hell m@n who is the lowest and most evil person I know. He ruined not only my uncle’s life. You can read everything I have to say about that here. And with this I want to warn everybody to stay as far away from this parasite as possible and don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth. My uncle will be cremated today and in a month he will join my grandma/his mother in the grave.

Today I went to Mad Science Tattoo in The Hague with my sister Nadia to tattoo a third eye in the neck. I figured this idea out while taking a shower and thought it’d be a cool idea to tattoo each others eye on our back to create ‘The don’t fuck with us cause we’re watching each others back idea’. And that way we’re together all the time and watch every move we make and make it with. Yes, I see everything now;-) Further I enlarged the tattoo on my back with three roses: Mom, Dad and Sis. And three butterflies for the free spirits: Sister, myself and the future soul mate (Still unknown). They have our favourite colors. Mine is black and red, my sisters is purple and green and the love butterfly is red. That way all my favourite people in my life are for always with me on my back. Today I had a super relaxed shoot in the Swimming Pool Suite in Hotel Van Der Valk Shiphol. My sister Nadia, Madilon Bos and Merel Trip joined the shoot as well and Katja De Bruijn made the pictures.

Sunday 09-03-2008 the second season of the popular TV show Soccer Wives will be aired with the first episode. In this episode I have a guest appearance and played with Nicolette van Dam and Bas Muijs. Tim Oliehoek directed the second season and it was an honour to work with him again. So watch RTL 4 Sunday at 20.30

Next to the bunnies, a sharp DJ line-up, Champaign and top entertainment whe have the crčme de la crčme of the Dutch Playmates namely Dorien Rose, Marcella Nihof and Carlijn Carter. Also Jennifer Deelstra, Playmate February 2008, will be there to make this an unforgettable night. Moordwijven has gone over the border of 400.000 visitors and with that reached the status of Platinum movie. A couple of weeks ago Moordwijven received the Golden status when in a little week there were over the 100.000 visitors. The trophy was given to director Dick Maas and producer Tom de Mol in L’Europe in Amsterdam.
After 10 weeks the movie is still in the top 10 of most popular cinema movies and also in Belgium there’ve been more then 22.000 visitors.
Moordwijven is produced by Tom de Mol and Dick Maas and financed by RTL Netherlands B.V. Independent Films distributed the movie.

I had a lovely week after a nice party in Scheveningen. Thanks Kronx and again Happy B-day! And I had a shoot for Pleasure Island festival that will be in the summer of 2008 in Amsterdam.

Today I had a shoot again for Sapph Lingerie with a new photographer Torben Raun. The pictures will be used for billboards, books, window poster etc. I’m very happy with the results. Last week I had 2 cool shoots for even cooler projects. A few days ago I had a shoot with Rob Durand for a cover special which will be in stores this week. I also picked up my newest member of the family today. My third baby rat-Sugar aka The Mask. My sister gave me her rats-Spike and Dumbo-a couple of weeks ago and when I saw this Husky Rat on the internet I fell in love! I’ll make some pics soon.

Playmate Marloes Santegoeds and I had a fantastic day at the Media Market in Groningen. Not only everybody was sweet but they also seemed to turn out quite generous. I asked (not seriously) if we could pick out a present at the end of the day and the sweetheart immediately said YES! Now I have a brand new iPod Nano and a DVD from Justin Timberlake! What a day! HILVERSUM – Actresses Caro Lenssen (Stille Nacht), Birgit Schuurman (Sexual Perversity), Dorien Rose (Moordwijven), Sylvia Hoeks (Vuurzee) and Sophie Tabouret (Sprint!) are working on six short movies for BNN. That was announced by the TV channel last Monday.

Under the name 666 these six actresses made movies about their devilish schemes. The movies will be premiered in the theatres and later on 101TV-BNN. They started shooting 19th of January and the production was in hands of Elbe Stevens, Bobbie Boermans, Eldar Gros and Daniel Nogueira.
